– Be specific. What do you know about how to feed yourself to be your best? For healthy eating, aim to eat more colorful fruits and vegetables. – Ensure minimum servings per day: Legumes – 1, Nuts & Seeds – 1, Vegetables & Fruits – 1 red, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 blue/purple.
Break down larger goals into smaller ones.
– Categorize goals and seek small changes that will yield the most results.
Put your goals on a timeline.
– Is the time frame you’ve set realistic? For healthy weight loss: 1-2 pounds weekly. Move forward by setting dates for smaller and larger goals.
